Relax, meditation, and a little bit of yoga...

Every day, before our English sessions, we practice some minutes of Yoga. All the instructions are given in English. We are aware of our body position and our breathing. Mind and body are connected. We get a calm and nice atmosphere and we are ready for the English lessons.

We listen to a music, called mantra, that helps us to get relaxed.

Metodologia de l'àrea d'anglès, Laura Sanz Román

Cicle infantil, primer cicle i tercer cicle.

     L'aprenentatge de la llengua estrangera als cicles d'infantil, inical i superior es duen a terme basats en l'aprenentatge cooperatiu.

Es pretén, amb aquest programa, crear un clima d'aula més apropiat per a l'aprenentatge, aprofitar i potenciar la interacció entre iguals com a factor d'aprenentatge (sense oblidar, per descomptat, la interacció entre els alumnes i els seus mestres) i aconseguir així millors resultats acadèmics i un major desenvolupament personal i social de tot l'alumnat. Una característica essencial d'aquests equips és la seva heterogeneïtat.

     Cançons, jocs i representacions teatrals ens ajuden a desenvolupar l'aprenentatge de la llengua estrangera de forma lúdica, espontànea, divertida i molt propera a la realitat dels nostres alumnes.

     Els Bits d'intel.ligència són un recurs utilitzat a diari a les sessions d'anglès i a tots els nivells. Els bits tenen com objectiu millorar l'atenció, facilitar la concentració i desenvolupar i estimular el cervell, la memòria i l'aprenentatge.

     Llenguatge de signes: l'ús del llenguatge de signes (LSE – lengua de signos española- o ASL – american sign language-) és un recurs molt atractiu pels alumnes i a la vegada és una forma d'aprendre una llengua de forma natural, associant una imatge, en aquest cas un signe, a una paraula o só. S'intenta evitar la continua traducció a la llengua materna.

     Creació dels nostres llibres de lectura: a partir d'aquest projecte apropam als nostres alumnes al plaer per la lectura, la conciència literaria, al treball en equip, i a la divulgació d'un projecte comú. Equest projecte se duu a terme de forma interdisciplinar, on tots els alumnes particicipen activament. També existeix un àrea dins l'aula destinada a la lectura de llibres, dotada d'estores i coixins on es pot gaudir de comoditat i d'un entorn apropiat per llegir.

     La relaxació i meditació són essencials a les nostres classes d'anglès; a l'inici de cada sessió destinam 6 minuts per preparar el nostre cos i la nostra ment. Totes les indicacions es fan en anglès i tenim l'oportunitat d'observar el nostre cos, controlar la respiració, treballar amb els cinc sentits (conciència sensorial), aprendre a silenciar la ment i relaxar la nostra musculatura, entre d'altres. S'afavoreix un bon clima de classe que facilita dur a terme altres activitats com els bits d'intel.ligència i la part oral en anglès.

     Els cercles restauratius són una altre estratègia treballada a les sessions d'anglès. En llengua estrangera compartim experiències, sentiments, necessitats, i expectatives. Es tracta d'una eina que facilita el diàleg, l'exposició d'opinions...
    Seguim el mètode  synthetic phonics , mètode d’aprenentatge de la lecto-escriptura anglesa, als cicles d'infantil i primer cicle de primària.
